Prefabricated College Locker Room

The Challenge
WVU Potomac State College was facing a problem that construction could fix. In order for the college to adhere to NCAA Title 9 rules, they must provide locker room facilities for their women’s softball team. A modular building fit the requirement due to off-site construction’s speed to site, and fulfilled the space needed. Modular Genius helped them put together the floor plan and building specifications within their budget.
The Solution
Modular Genius was contracted to build and ship the new modular softball field house to the campus. The school solicited a 1440 square foot building with a home team locker room, public and private men and women’s restrooms, a lounge, one private office, a laundry room, and a storage room for team equipment. The building had smart panel siding and the floor covering was a combination of commercial grade carpet and vinyl tile flooring. The building met ADA compliance, used vinyl covered gypsum walls, and skirting and aluminum ramp and steps were installed.
