Modular Community Based Health Center

The Challenge

A fully functional healthcare facility was needed at CCPS Indian Head Elementary School to serve the local community, with a strict deadline tied to grant funding that had to be used within the same calendar year. When the original design exceeded the available budget, the project required a fast, flexible, and cost-effective solution that would still meet all life-safety, accessibility, and performance standards.

The Solution

Modular Genius delivered a 1,400 sq. ft. relocatable modular medical facility through a full turnkey approach, completing the project on time and within budget. Value engineering helped align the design with funding requirements while maintaining quality and function. The building includes exam rooms with built-in sinks, cabinetry, and counters, ADA-compliant restrooms, and energy-efficient features like LED lighting, programmable thermostats, and motion-sensor controls. Durable finishes such as Marmoleum, carpet squares, ceramic tile, and Hardie panel siding ensure long-term performance. Site work included concrete sidewalks, an aluminum access ramp and stairs, a bike rack, and a factory-initiated sprinkler system completed on site. With thoughtful design and efficient construction, Modular Genius delivered a welcoming, high-performing facility that meets the healthcare needs of the school community.
