The Challenge
Smouse Trailer & Snow Equipment in Mount Pleasant, PA needed to replace their small and cramped office building. They decided to look for a modular building solution that would minimize employee down time and reduce costs. They needed a PA coded building that would be large enough to house their staff and provide a small showroom of parts and accessories for their cargo trailers. Due to the fast pace of their business, site disruption and employee down time was a critical component of their decision to use a modular office building. After contacting a few modular providers who were unable to fulfill their needs, they contacted Modular Genius.
The Solution
Modular Genius had an existing building that was on a long term lease that was ending for DC Water. The client met with MGI at the building location and completed a thorough inspection of the building. The building was in good structural shape, but needed some finish upgrades in order to be a viable option for Smouse Trailer to use as their new office and sales center. After the contract was signed, MGI had the relocatable modular office building, dismantled, shipped and installed within 60 days. New paint, decks, canopy and ramp provided a fresh look to the building. The interior was modified by adding offices and create an open space for the parts and cargo trailer showroom. Dave Smouse commented they love the additional space and quality construction of their new building.
