Modular Swing Space Delivered for Training Facility

The Challenge

A government organization required a temporary training facility to accommodate ongoing operations at their campus in Laurel, Maryland. The client needed a fast, cost-effective swing space solution that could support business occupancy requirements, provide multiple classrooms, and meet applicable building codes. The facility had to be installed quickly with minimal disruption to the site, while reusing modular components to align with budget and sustainability goals.

The Solution

Modular Genius provided a 9,000-square-foot, single-story modular building designed for business use at the government training center. Comprised of ten 14’ x 66’ modules sourced from available inventory, the building complied with Type 5B combustible construction standards. The interior layout featured eight classrooms, administrative space, a mechanical room, and restrooms to support daily training activities. The use of previously deployed modular units allowed for cost savings and accelerated deployment. The structure was installed efficiently, ensuring the client’s training schedule remained uninterrupted.
