Cape Henlopen School District needed additional classroom space at Cape Henlopen High School on a timeline built around the school calendar. Traditional construction could not deliver capacity fast enough. Facilities teams facing enrollment pressure rarely have the lead time a ground-up build requires, which made fast delivery and installation the largest deciding factor.

The Solution

Modular Genius supplied a 3,072-square-foot modular classroom building drawn from available inventory, configured as two 24×64 classroom units. Sourcing an in-stock modular building rather than placing a new production order removed manufacturing lead time from the schedule entirely. Modular Genius handled turnkey delivery and installation end to end. The in-house crew set the building on ABS pads and built the decks, steps, and ramps on site, keeping the full scope under one contractor rather than splitting it across trades.
