Two Story Modular Classroom Complex in Baltimore
The Challenge
Maree G. Farring Elementary / Middle School in Baltimore, Maryland required additional academic space to support its student population. The school needed a sizable classroom facility that could efficiently expand instructional capacity while fitting within the existing campus environment. The project required a multi-level solution capable of housing numerous classrooms and support areas within a single structure while also ensuring accessibility between floors.
The Solution
A 21,280-square-foot, two-story modular classroom complex was delivered to meet the school’s space requirements. The building layout includes 18 classrooms, administrative offices, corridors, and student and staff restroom facilities arranged along central hallways on both floors to support efficient circulation. An elevator was incorporated into the design to provide accessible access between levels, ensuring all areas of the facility are reachable for students, staff, and visitors. The modular configuration allowed the school to receive a large, fully functional educational building designed to accommodate a wide range of academic activities within a compact two-story footprint.
