Public School Modular Classroom Complex

The Challenge
A public elementary school in Odenton, MD needed more classroom space due to high enrollment. They determined that leasing a portable modular classroom building was the quickest and most cost effective solution.
The Solution
Modular Genius, Inc. designed and built a 7, 128 sq. ft. portable modular complex featuring nine classrooms, and boys’ and girls’ multi-stall restrooms. The modular classroom building was designed and constructed to meet all Maryland’s design and code requirements, while meeting the school’s design, use, and space requirements at the same time. The classrooms were also outfitted with the school’s furniture, supplies, equipment, and instructional technology to help make a seamless transition for teachers and students from their classrooms within the school to the modular classrooms.
