The Challenge
A Federal Government Agency in Houlton, Maine needed additional office space to perform their duties. Due to the remote location and year-round low temperatures, there was only a short window of time in which construction was viable. Due to these conditions, the client determined that permanent modular construction was the quickest and most cost effective solution.
The Solution
Modular Genius, Inc. worked with CCI Alliance of Companies to design the permanent modular office building to meet BPS’ strict requirements. The 5,463 sq. ft. building was installed on a slab foundation with integrated piers. The building required secure document handling and file storage, a conference room, and a lactation room. Horizontal vinyl siding, gypsum painted walls, carpet squares, and VCT in wet areas was installed on site. Per the client’s request, CCI installed a domestic potable water treatment system. The building was completed within the scheduled timeframe and budget.
