Modular Public School Classroom Relocation
The Challenge
Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) required additional classroom space at William Wirt Middle School to accommodate a growing student population. The district needed a quick and efficient solution that could be implemented with minimal disruption to the existing campus operations.
The Solution
Modular Genius provided two 24’ x 36’ (864 sq ft each) relocatable modular classrooms, totaling 1,728 square feet of additional instructional space at William Wirt Middle School. Each classroom was designed and constructed to meet all applicable local and state building codes, as well as PGCPS educational facility standards. The units were equipped with HVAC systems, vinyl-covered gypsum walls, commercial-grade vinyl flooring, and energy-efficient lighting to support a comfortable and functional learning environment. Installation was completed efficiently with minimal disruption to ongoing school operations, delivering a timely and cost-effective solution for the district’s space needs.
