The Challenge

Hillcrest Abbey Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia required a functional and efficiently designed office space to support its daily administrative operations. The client needed a building solution that could be installed quickly with minimal site disruption, while offering modern amenities and durable construction suited to a high-traffic environment.

The Solution

A 1,344 sq. ft. modular office building was delivered to meet the cemetery’s needs, designed for both functionality and comfort. The floor plan features a central open office area flanked by four private offices, two ADA-compliant restrooms, and a designated mechanical room. Instant flow water heaters were installed in each restroom to provide efficient hot water delivery, while dual 3-ton HVAC systems with fresh air intake ensure consistent climate control throughout the structure. The building is constructed with 2×6 exterior walls for added durability and energy efficiency, and heat tape was included to protect plumbing lines during colder months. The modular solution was fully code-compliant with Georgia state building regulations and allowed for rapid installation, minimizing disruption to cemetery operations.
