Modular Utility Buildings for Electrical Equipment

The Challenge

A facility operated by 3 Rivers Energy required additional space to house electrical distribution equipment supporting a specialized operation for Jim Beam. While 3 Rivers Energy owns and operates the plant, it is located on land owned by Jim Beam and exists solely to supply gas and byproducts to support Jim Beam’s operations. One critical component of the facility is a pond containing liquid fertilizer, a byproduct of the production process. Existing infrastructure lacked adequate capacity for the mixers, controls, and other electrical components needed to support the operation of this pond, prompting the need for a fast, safe, and cost-effective building solution.

The Solution

Modular Genius provided two relocatable modular electrical buildings, each measuring 160 square feet, for a total of 320 square feet of enclosed space. The modular units were custom-designed to accommodate the specific electrical distribution needs of the facility, including support for the mixers and control systems servicing the fertilizer pond. Delivered and installed with minimal disruption to ongoing operations, the modular buildings offered a rapid deployment solution that aligned with the project’s utility and operational goals. Their relocatable design ensures flexibility for future expansion or repositioning as operational demands evolve.
