The Challenge

Sheppard Pratt School in Glyndon, a nonpublic special education day school located in Reisterstown, Maryland, required additional classroom space. The school needed a solution that could be delivered quickly with minimal disruption to daily operations while meeting the unique requirements of a special education environment.

The Solution

Modular Genius provided an 864 square foot modular classroom building to expand the school’s educational capacity. Designed with functionality and accessibility in mind, the structure includes a dedicated storage closet and built-in coat hooks to support organization and ease of use for students and staff. ADA-compliant steps, decks, and ramps were installed to ensure full accessibility and adherence to federal guidelines. The building was installed efficiently on-site and delivered in compliance with local and state building codes for educational facilities. The modular solution offered a fast and cost-effective way to meet the school’s needs while maintaining a high standard of safety and comfort.
