Temporary Modular 10 Classroom Building
The Challenge
Meade High School faced a pressing need for additional instructional space. The Anne Arundel County Public Schools district required a fast and cost-effective solution that could be deployed on campus without interrupting daily academic activities. The expansion needed to deliver multiple classrooms, storage space for teachers, student and faculty restrooms, and technology infrastructure, while meeting all applicable local codes and ADA accessibility requirements.
The Solution
Modular Genius installed two relocatable modular classroom buildings, each measuring 9,900 sq. ft. and containing ten classrooms with dedicated storage closets. Each building is equipped with multi-stall student restrooms, a single-occupant teacher restroom, and a secure IT closet for network equipment. The buildings were constructed off-site in a controlled factory environment and delivered in sections for rapid on-site assembly, significantly reducing disruption to the active school campus. Both structures are fully compliant with state and local building codes, ADA standards, and energy efficiency requirements. The turnkey project was completed on an accelerated schedule, providing Meade High School with a combined 19,800 sq. ft. of high-quality learning space ready for immediate use.
