Modular Classroom Expansion in Connecticut

The Challenge

The Catholic Academy of Stamford required additional classroom space to support its growing student population. The solution needed to be delivered quickly, comply with all relevant building and accessibility codes, and integrate seamlessly with the existing campus layout. Minimizing disruption during installation and ensuring safe, convenient access between buildings were also key priorities.

The Solution

A 4,620 square foot relocatable modular building was installed to provide four modern classrooms, multi-stall boys’ and girls’ restrooms, and a single-occupant staff restroom. To ensure full accessibility, ADA-compliant steps and ramps were included. A covered walkway was constructed to connect the new modular facility to the main building, allowing students and staff to move safely between structures in all weather conditions. The modular building was delivered and installed with minimal disruption to campus activity, and met all local and state code requirements, providing a fast, functional, and compliant expansion solution.
