The Challenge
An asphalt and paving company located in Livonia, Michigan needed to replace an old scale house operator mobile office that was on their site. They wanted to replace the old building with a new modular scale house operator office that fit in the same footprint as the previous building.
The Solution
Modular Genius designed and built a new 8 feet wide by 28 feet long, 224 square feet office unit to meet the code requirements for the state of Michigan. The modular scale house office was delivered and installed onto a flat concrete slab and featured aluminum steps for both exterior doors. The building also featured a single pitched roof, designed to direct rainfall away from the scale with gutters and downspouts.
