Middle School Modular Classroom Unit
The Challenge
ELCO Middle School in Myerstown, PA, required additional classroom space to accommodate growing student enrollment. The school needed a cost-effective solution that could be implemented quickly without disrupting ongoing educational activities. The new facilities had to meet local building codes, provide ample storage space, and ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
The Solution
A 3,696-square-foot relocatable modular building was installed, featuring four fully equipped classrooms, each with its own dedicated storage closet. The modular units were designed to meet all Pennsylvania state and local building codes, including safety and accessibility requirements. The structure incorporated durable materials and energy-efficient HVAC systems. Delivered and installed in a fraction of the time required for traditional construction, the modular building provided a turnkey solution, minimizing disruption and meeting the school’s pressing space needs effectively.
