Relocatable Modular Breakroom and Scale House

The Challenge

A company in Moseley, VA required two relocatable modular buildings as part of the same project to support its operational and employee needs. One building was designated as a break room with private office space, single-occupant restrooms, a kitchenette with a dining area, and a locker room for employees. The second building was designed to function as a scale house, featuring a private office, a single-occupant restroom, a kitchenette with a dining area, a conference room, an IT closet, and an office for the scale house operator. Both buildings needed ADA-compliant steps and ramps for accessibility and had to be delivered quickly without disrupting ongoing operations.

The Solution

The project included two relocatable modular buildings, each 840 square feet, customized to meet the client’s specific requirements. The break room building featured private office space, two single-occupant restrooms, a kitchenette with a dining area, and a locker room, providing a comfortable space for employees. The scale house building included a private office, a single-occupant restroom, a conference room, an IT closet, a kitchenette, and an office for the scale house operator. Both buildings were installed with ADA-compliant steps and ramps to ensure accessibility and met all local building codes. The modular construction method allowed for rapid deployment and seamless integration, delivering functional, compliant, and high-quality spaces tailored to the company’s operational and employee support needs.
