The Challenge
Baltimore County Public schools was in need of several portable classroom buildings to be installed during the summer of 2020 when school was out of session. The portable classroom requirements needed to include HVAC, large windows, durable doors and locks, Technology and IT closets, durable floors and wall coverings, and adequate lighting.
The Solution
Modular Genius, Inc. provided several durable portable classrooms inclusive of pre-fabricated aluminum steps and ADA ramps, on time and per contract. The school district enhanced their perimeter skirting requirements including a wire mess backing behind the lattice and framing The 864 sqft classrooms were manufactured, delivered and installed on site within 90 days of notice to proceed.
