Temporary Modular Classroom Buildings for Construction
The Challenge
Towson High School in Towson, Maryland required a temporary solution to accommodate students during an extensive construction project for the main school building. The school needed classroom space that would allow uninterrupted instruction throughout the construction period, with facilities that could support both students and staff.
The Solution
To meet Towson High School’s temporary space needs, two modular classroom complexes totaling 19,200 square feet were delivered and installed. Each complex includes ten classrooms, multi-stall student restrooms, and a single-occupant teacher restroom, providing a functional and code-compliant environment for learning. The modular buildings were designed to meet local and state education facility requirements and were installed quickly to minimize disruption to the school schedule. This relocatable solution ensures students and teachers have access to safe, fully equipped learning spaces while the permanent school building undergoes construction.
