Modular Classroom Building for Women’s Prison

The Challenge

Liberty Construction required additional classroom space at Tutwiler Women’s Prison in Wetumpka, Alabama to support facility operations and programming needs. The project called for a durable, efficient modular solution that could be delivered and installed within a defined schedule while meeting the requirements of a secure government environment. Coordination of site access and installation logistics were key considerations throughout the project.

The Solution

Modular Genius delivered a 1,536 sq. ft. modular classroom building to support educational and operational needs at the facility. The project included the delivery and installation of a two-module classroom building, along with associated steps and skirting to provide safe and accessible entry.

Working alongside the general contractor, Modular Genius coordinated installation planning and site requirements to support an efficient project timeline. By utilizing modular construction, the facility gained a functional classroom environment delivered quickly and designed for long-term use.
