At Modular Genius, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and yesterday, our team had the opportunity to make a direct impact. We spent the day volunteering at Baltimore Hunger Project, where we packed over 500 bags of food for underprivileged schoolchildren in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. In just one hour, our team packed more bags than any other group—a testament to the dedication and teamwork that drives us both on and off the job site!
The bags packed by our team will be delivered next week to students who rely on school meals but may face food insecurity on weekends. Each bag was filled with nutritious, easy-to-eat items to help bridge the gap between school days. Beyond just packing food, our team also wrote personalized notes of encouragement to include in every bag, offering words of support and motivation to brighten the students’ day.
About Baltimore Hunger Project
Baltimore Hunger Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating weekend childhood hunger in the Baltimore area. By providing weekend food packs to children who rely on school meals during the week, the organization ensures that local students have access to consistent nutrition so they can focus on learning rather than where their next meal will come from. The organization collaborates with schools, social workers, and community partners to identify students in need and deliver these essential food bags directly to them.

Volunteering at Baltimore Hunger Project was an incredibly rewarding experience for our team.
