Modular Buildings Arizona

Modular Buildings Arizona

Arizona, the “Grand Canyon State,” is the 14th most populous of the 50 US states, which means that schools, health clinics, churches, and businesses are continually expanding. Modular buildings are a fast, cost-effective and environmentally friendly way to accommodate the need for more space.

Modular Genius specializes in design-to-occupancy modular construction and has delivered hundreds of thousands of square feet of prefabricated space to commercial, institutional and government customers across the nation.  We are also a GSA Schedule Contract Holder GS-07F-0124W with the Federal Government.

Arizona History, Culture & Economy

What is now the state of Arizona was originally settled (in about 1150 AD) by Native American tribes, including the Hopi, Pueblo, Zuni, Apache, Mohave, and Navajo. The territory belonged to Mexico until the end of the Mexican-American War (1848) and became a state in 1912.

Phoenix, in Maricopa County, is Arizona’s capital and largest city. Other prominent cities in its metropolitan area include Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale and Glendale. Tucson, to the southeast, is the second-largest city, followed by Yuma and Flagstaff.

Early in its history, Arizona’s economy relied on copper, cotton, cattle, citrus, and tourism. Today health care and the government are the largest sectors. However, copper mining is still important, and the state accounts for two-thirds of the nation’s copper output.

Public schools in Arizona are separated into about 220 independent local school districts. The state is also served by three public universities: The University of Arizona, Arizona State University, and Northern Arizona University, as well as more than 40 private and community colleges.

Education

Changes in classroom design in the 21st century have us seeking more flexible, open spaces where students have the flexibility to move, collaborate, and express themselves in creative ways.

If you are looking to go modular with classrooms that are modern, unique and green, but are skeptical about what can be accomplished, consider Modular Genius’ innovative modular classroom design for the 7,200 SF Barrie School research learning lab in Silver Spring, MD.

The eco-friendly structure incorporated tall ceilings, moveable walls and lots of windows, and was built from reclaimed materials and recycled post-consumer products. The project was completed in 121 days.

Healthcare

In growing communities like Falmouth, healthcare facilities always struggle with accommodating overcrowding, new treatments, and new technologies within tight budgets.

Modular health care buildings can help you create state-of-the-art facilities to serve patients, doctors and hospital staff. They add a level of flexibility that can help you prevent down time, enhance revenues, and avoid patient disruption caused by on-site construction.

Government/Park Services

Modular Genius designs, builds and installs award-winning modular building solutions for every industry, including state and national park visitor centers and ranger stations, government and military structures and more.

With more than 50 national and state parks in Arizona, including Grand Canyon National Park, Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, Saguaro National Park, and Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, our environmentally friendly modular buildings are ideal for use as temporary or permanent park headquarters, administrative offices, bunk houses, vacation cabins, ticket booths and guard houses, restrooms and changing rooms, equipment enclosures, and many other applications.

We constructed a permanent modular office building for the National Park Service at Assateague Island National Seashore. The ranger station was required to have a natural appearance and architecturally blend with the seashore and wildlife refuge. The project received an Honorable Mention from the Modular Building Institute.

With facilities from coast to coast, Modular Genius manufactures modular buildings close to your Arizona location. For more information about what we can accomplish, get in touch with us at 888-420-1113 to discuss your specific project.
