Modular Genius Recognized at Habitat for Humanity House Dedication Ceremony
Modular Genius was honored to be recognized at the house dedication ceremony hosted by Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna to celebrate the completion of the “Habi-Tech” modular house at in Elkton, MD. Modular Genius donated the steel frames used in the construction of the “Habi-Tech” modular home, as well as labor to help set the house. The modular home was constructed by students at Cecil County School of Technology as part of their vocational project, and part of the lumber used for the home is sourced from a 79-foot Norway spruce from the annual Christmas lighting at New York City’s Rockefeller Center, which gets donated yearly to Habitat for Humanity. The home, which features three bedrooms and two bathrooms, was transported from Cecil County School of Technology to the site and set within one day with help from Modular Genius, Digging and Rigging Inc., and other volunteers.
