The Modular Construction Process
Built in sections off-site in a manufacturing facility, Modular Genius first completes the planning and engineering stages for your project based on your unique requirements. We can custom design your floor plan to include any features and options that you desire. The components are then built in a factory-controlled environment.
Overall, modular construction is about 40% faster to design and build than conventional construction. In a matter of just a few months, modules are transported to the building site and connected in sections, like building blocks.
SCIF buildings are available in a wide range of floor plans, from 320 square feet to over 38,000 square feet and can be customized with UV and corrosion-resistant exterior coatings, blast-proof windows and doors, impenetrable locks, and progressive collapse capabilities. We can also securely wrap and transport them from the closest manufacturing facility to a US shipping port for shipment overseas.
Our modular construction methods meet the high-security requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) and Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) in terms of physical security and hardening, acoustics controls, visual controls, access control, electronics and security systems.
The buildings are durable, portable, fully customizable, and can be configured with multiple rooms, server areas, workstations, conference areas, secure and unsecure networks, and more.
We also provide Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) ratings for facilities, such as embedded sound masking and acoustical controls that may not be required by SCIF or SAPF. Special shielding is constructed with multi-layered materials that help block electromagnetic radiation such as EMI / RFI. Different TEMPEST designs are available. Security features with multiple layers of metal and insulation materials ensure all parts lock and are impenetrable.
