Modular Buildings for Sale

Modular Buildings for Sale

When your budget is too small for traditional construction, you will discover modular buildings for sale from Modular Genius that are suitable for virtually any conceivable commercial, industrial, or governmental application you have in mind.

Modular Genius manufactures both relocatable modular buildings that are ideal for swing space as classrooms and other temporary uses when you plan to eventually take the module apart and reuse it elsewhere, as well as permanent modular buildings that serve as complete school campuses, medical and dental facilities, office buildings, retail and recreational spaces, churches, museums, banks, and a wide range of other applications.

Modular buildings can stand on their own as individual buildings or can be combined to create larger structures. Although you may have seen single-story prefabricated buildings, such as portable offices on construction sites, they can also be multi-story buildings in excess of 100,000 SF, complete with elevators.

About the Modular Construction Process

Upon identifying a customer’s needs, the Modular Genius team designs buildings that are functional, attractive, and intended to blend seamlessly into their surroundings. Once completed, it’s hard to tell a modular building apart from a conventionally built building.

With a complete team of designers, engineers, project managers, and field superintendents, Modular Genius can also serve as general contractor for all aspects of the modular construction process, including:

  • architectural renderings
  • local, state, and national building code compliance
  • civil engineering, permits, and zoning services
  • site preparation, including excavation, grading, and foundations
  • factory manufacturing of the modular building
    • steel framing and floor decking
    • installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
    • application of drywall, interior pain, and flooring
    • installation of doors and windows
    • exterior hardware & trim, including stone and brick masonry
  • ground transportation in sections by specialized carrier to the building site
  • assembly on prepared foundation and seamed together
    • completion of utility connections
    • installation of concrete/metal ramps and stairs, skirting & trim
    • paving of sidewalks and parking lots
    • installation of downspouts and gutters
    • landscaping and signage
  • In-house and 3rd party licensed inspection and quality control

Factory manufacturing is not affected by weather and other delays on the construction site. This means customers are able to occupy their modular buildings about 50% sooner than conventional buildings.

The modular construction process is also very precise, and regular quality inspections in the factory reduce the potential for errors. The fact that the modules must sometimes be transported long distances also means they are built from the outset with durability and better moisture protection in mind.

When approximately 90% complete, modules are transported to the building site and erected in sections, like building blocks, on an already prepared foundation.  Stairwells, water lines, power lines, HVAC, and other systems are already in place when they leave the factory.

Once set in place, interior and exterior finishing work is done, and the building(s) can be ready for occupancy in 30-50% less time than a traditional stick-built building.

Whether you need a small insurance office or a sophisticated multi-story healthcare facility, Modular Genius has modular buildings for sale that can handle any imaginable application. Contact us at (888) 420-1113 to put your ideas into action.
