Pepco Modular Security Office

Washington, DC

The Challenge

Pepco (Potomac Electric Power Company) had a security office in Washington, DC that needed to be replaced, the aging 25 year old building was in very poor condition and too small for their growing team, and decided to upgrade and enlarge the space for their security professionals. Pepco contacted Modular Genius to put together a plan to dismantle and remove the old modular building and replace it with a new, current coded office. They felt modular construction was ideal due to site conditions and minimal displacement of their team during construction.

The Solution

Modular Genius worked with the client to design a new and larger building with a breakroom, two private offices, IT closet, and a large conference room. The client selected an industrial steel sided building, acoustical ceiling, recessed LED lights, and a combination of LVT and commercial grade carpet tiles. Modular Genius supplied an aluminum ramp, steps and canopies, skirting, and gutters with down spouts. Modular Genius sourced and installed the client’s appliances, furniture, and TV monitors for the building.
