Case Study
Modular Genius was recently honored with a 1st Place Award of Distinction from the Modular Building Institute for the modular Fire House and Community Center we completed for the township of Browns Mills, NJ. The single-story 7,372 SF center was built for mixed use.
One side of the center was designed for public meetings and events, so the layout incorporates a full kitchen, open meeting room and storage. The remaining space is allocated to the community’s fire department and includes the apparatus bay as well as office and meeting room space, with restrooms and shower facilities for the fire department staff.
The architectural features were inspired by the Pinelands National Reserve surroundings to compliment the woodland environment. The remote location and limited area resources meant that onsite construction would have taken twice as much time to complete and resulted in a higher cost. Modular Genius completed the project quickly and affordably.
