A Brief Look at Our Manufacturing Process
In a nutshell, modular construction involves manufacturing modules – the components of a modular building – in a factory. The modules are then placed on trucks and transported to the building site, whether they are then assembled. Modular Genius performs about 90 percent of the manufacturing process in one of our climate-controlled facilities. We then lift the modules by crane and put them on trucks.
Once the modules arrive at the site, we affix them to a foundation that has already been prepared. Our buildings are ready for immediate use once the installation is complete.
Modular buildings are built to last for decades. Temporary, or relocatable structures, ones that aren’t affixed to real estate, will typically last about 30 years. Permanent modular structures are built to last for 50 years or even longer.
