Employee Spotlight – Barb Provenzano

Modular Genius is happy to welcome Barb Provenzano to our construction family!

How Long have you been in the Modular Industry and what roles have you held.
I started in the modular industry back in 2004 for Williams Scotsman, Inc. in their Corporate office in White Marsh, MD. I started working there as the Receptionist and in 6 months was promoted to Human Resources as an Administrative Assistant. I left WillScot in 2009 and
then started my 10 year career in 2010 as a BD/Marketing Administrative Assistant with White Marsh Mall – General Growth Properties, now Brookfield Properties. I left there in September of 2020 and started my position here at Modular Genius as the Operations Administrative Assistant in November.

Favorite/Most Interesting Project
I have to say my favorite projects working for WillScot had to be when I was able to plan all of their corporate events including Wellness Wednesdays, The Biggest Loser Competition, American Red Cross just to name a few, and their numerous Christmas parties and Happy
Hours. When working near White Marsh Mall, my favorite projects were most definitely our various events out in the mall with our customers and tenants. I managed all aspects of our Tuesday Family Fun Day program and really got to know all of the families that came in every week to watch various children’s performers. Another fun event that I enjoyed was assisting in coordinating the M&T Ravens Rallies a few times a year. I was able to meet a lot of retired Baltimore Ravens players throughout the years.

Hobbies
I love to do anything outdoors whether it’s running 5k’s, hiking, being at the beach or laying in our pool with my family on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Before Covid hit, you could find me at many Orioles or Ravens games and I was always going to various rock concerts with friends in and around town.
