Employee Spotlight – Michael Whitehead
How Long have you been in the Modular Industry and what roles have you held?
I started in the modular building industry on October 1st, 1999 with Williams Scotsman. At Williams Scotsman I was responsible for leasing and selling modular space solutions in a defined geographical territory in the state of Maryland. I left Williams after almost 14 years, to become an Area Sales Manager at Modular Space Corporation on January 1st, 2013. I worked primarily in Washington DC and the four southern MD counties. I started at Modular Genius as a Business Development Manager on November 26, 2018. I have done both big and small projects during my career. I’ve been involved in single unit projects up to $1 million school projects, two story buildings, to $3-4 million construction/commercial projects.
Favorite/ Interesting Project
This is a tough one… Maybe the one we’re in the middle of right now where we are removing and replacing four MD SHA weigh station offices used by the MD State Police, offering full turn-key service for each of the four locations.
Hobbies
I love playing Golf, traveling- mostly in the US, spending time with my daughter and family. I enjoy working on some small projects around the house and attending sporting events.
