Federal and State Modular Police Station
[CHALLENGE]
The State Police in Maryland in conjunction with Homeland Security needed a local facility in close proximity to a major highway. The esthetics was important to the customer for this project as this was going to be a permanent modular building.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 7,000 sq ft modular building inclusive of offices, administrative space, training rooms and restrooms. The project was completed in 150 days from award to occupancy.

The US National Guard had to add additional seats to a growing facility. The administrative modular space needed to be set up under strict time frame with a tight budget consideration.

Modular Swing Space
[CHALLENGE]
A Task Order Contractor working at an US Navy Base was renovating a small building and needed to displace some people from a building.
[SOLUTION]
They contacted Modular Genius to provide a 1,440 sq ft modular to be used as swing space for the project. The design was a 24’ X 60’ in stock building which delivered and installed in 14 days from award to occupancy.

Modular Field Office
[CHALLENGE]
A County Police Drug Task force was in need of setting up a field office to act as headquarters in a troubled part of the county. A modular building was decided to be the fastest means of setting up operations.

Modular Field Office
[CHALLENGE]
A Task Order Contractor working at an US Air Force Base needed a presentable field office for their staff. The office needed to fit on a small lot.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 4,320 square foot modular field office. The design was a 72’ X 60’ building with multiple offices, a conference rooms and kitchen. The last sections of the modular were lifted into place by crane to fit on the site. The project was completed in 60 days from award to occupancy.

Modular Ranger Station
[CHALLENGE]
The National Park Service was in need of a modular ranger station. However this
modular office building was required to architecturally blend in with the natural
seashore and wildlife refuge on this pristine barrier island. Additionally, a natural “inviting” appearance and a permanent installation was extremely important for this project.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius accomplished these aesthetic challenges by utilizing upgraded
Virginia Slate asphalt shingles on the A-frame roof and a natural Cape Cod
Gray horizontal vinyl siding with many architectural vinyl accents. Additionally,
the building was set above grade on a permanent wood pile foundation and a pad
mounted HVAC split-system was utilize

[CHALLENGE]
The US Marine Corp Motor Transportation Pool was in need of additional administrative space to administer to the fueling needs of vehicles on base.

Medical Modular Building
[CHALLENGE]
The US Marine Corp Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) was in need of additional administrative and storage space for vaccines. The vaccines had to be kept at a particular temperature to maintain stability of the medicine.
[SOLUTION]
Working with an 8a contractor Modular Genius provided a 3,600 sq ft modular building along with prefabricated ramps and ADA prefabricated aluminum steps. The project was completed in 60 days from notice to proceed.

Mobile Trailer - Security Building
[CHALLENGE]
Modular Genius was called by a Task Order Contractor working at an US Air Force Base to design a mobile trailer that would have two separate entrances under one roof. The contractor had two clients that needed space fast on base.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 3,648 square foot mobile trailer. The design was a 48’ X 76’ building with a wall down the center. Each of the main entrances shared a single door with lead to a vestibule with shared restrooms. Each client would then be able to enter their work space and be separate from the other.

Temporary Prefabricated Office Building
[CHALLENGE]
ATask Order Contractor working at an
US Air force base was is need of Temporary Pre-Fabricated Office Building to house personal during their 5 year contract. They wanted to build a modular building using GREEN materials similar to those used in the military buildings they were tasked to renovate.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 2,160 square foot modular building using the following sustainable features: Recycled Content (Insulation and Floor Covering) Lighting (Natural Lighting Skylights, LED light fixtures with occupancy sensors) Plumbing (Double flush toilets and faucets with sensors) Energy (Low E windows, White reflective roof covering).

[CHALLENGE]
[The US Marine Corp was in need of additional administrative space for the Security Cooperation Education and Training Center (SCETC). Their mission is to coordinates, manages, implements, and evaluates security cooperation and civil affairs education and training. The space needed to be delivered quickly.

Working with an 8a contractor Modular Genius provided a 4,920 sq ft modular training facility. The project was completed in 60 days from notice to proceed.

The US Department of Veteran Affairs was in need of a safety office for one of the facilities. The office needed to be installed on top of a steel superstructure because of underground site obstructions.
[SOLUTION]
Working with a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Modular Genius provided a 2,880 square foot modular building in 120 days. The project consisted of gas HVAC units, a hydraulic Modular Wheel Chair lift and prefabricated aluminum steps and canopies.

Federal Government - Mobile Office
[CHALLENGE]
The US Department of the Army was in need of replacing old Mobile Offices. A nice appearance to blend with the current base environment along with up to date building codes for the new mobile buildings was the requirement.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a (1) 576 sq ft modular classroom, and (2) 400 sq ft mobile offices. These mobile offices were installed with prefabricated aluminum steps, ramps and canopies. The project was completed in 60 days from notice to proceed.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources was in need of an office to house the Forestry Services for Somerset County. The office needed to be installed quickly to meet current budget constraints.

Modular Medical Eye Clinic - GA
[CHALLENGE]
The US Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Georgia was in need of additional space to expand their eye clinic. There was no more room inside the
hospital for the expansion. Modular Construction had been decided as the most expeditious way to expand the clinic.
[SOLUTION]
A Service disabled veteran contractor partnered with Modular Genius and built
the 2,880 sq ft modular addition. It was attached to the existing hospital. The
modular building was constructed with non-combustible materials. The hospital
walls were cut out for expansion so one could walk from the existing hospital into
the modular addition on the same floor without obstruction.

Dental Transitional Modular Swing Space
[CHALLENGE]
The United States Navy was in need of renovating the Hospital located at one of
their facilities in Oceana, VA. Their plans were to relocate part of the facility to a
temporary space as the hospital underwent renovations.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 10,000 sq ft building. The temporary swing space was a fully functional dental medical facility with administrative space.
The installation was complete in 90 days from award to occupancy.

The United States Army was in need of renovating the Hospital located at one of their facilities at FT Meade, MD. Their plans were to relocate part of the facility to a temporary space as the hospital underwent renovations.

OCS Convenience Store & Barber Shop
[CHALLENGE]
The United States Marine's were about to start a major transition pertaining to their Officer Candidate School. Their plans were to rebuild a larger, permanent building, but in the mean time they needed a place for the convenience store, and barber shop.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 24' x 60', 1,400 square feet, building. When one walks into the building they can go right to the convenience store, or left to get their 'shape-up' at the barber shop.

Officer Candidate School
[CHALLENGE]
The United States Marine's were about to start a major transition pertaining to their Officer Candidate School. Their plans were to rebuild a larger, permanent building, but in the mean time they needed some additional office space and classrooms.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius built this customer a 60' x 60', 4,800 square feet, building. This building included additional office space along with the needed classrooms for the officer candidates. Modular Genius also completed all the steps, decks, and ramps that were required for this job as well.

Modular Support Center
[CHALLENGE]
One of the United States military forces was in need of office space, and space to support training missions. This space needed to allow for open communication with some space for private conversations and meetings.
[SOLUTIONS]
Modular Genius built an 8,064 square foot office building that consisted of a large open space for individual working stations, restrooms, and a kitchen or break room. The desks and all workstations were built and put together on site by Modular Genius.

State Park Office Space
[CHALLENGE]
An enviromental group located in Masonville, Maryland was in desperate need of new office space. They needed this building to be constructed using methods that were as enviromentally friendly as possible, so they went modular.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius designed and engineered a 2,160 square foot office building for this customer. Modular construction is known to be more enviromentally friendly due to the in house building and the cut back on construction waste during actual factory production. This was plenty to satisfy this customer!

State Police Station
[CHALLENGE]
The Maryland State Police needed a local facility in Sandy Point State Park. It was very important that this building not look modular. The overall building needed to match the surrounding architecture. This building was also going to be located in a known marshy area, which would need to be taken into consideration when designing the foundation.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius accomplished the overall look and feel of the building by constructing a shingled mansard roof, and used a vinyl siding that matched the surrounding buildings. Regards to the marshy area, Modular Genius suggested and designed a perimeter wall foundation with a crawl space.

[CHALLENGE]
The US Naval Academy was renovating
Nimitz Library and in need of temporary
office space during the renovation.The
site selected was near the water on the
edge of the historic campus.The project
was under a tight time constraints and

US Coast Guard Headquarters, DC
[CHALLENGE]
Creating the largest construction job
since the Pentagon in 1940 the Federal
Government is renovating and expanding
upon former St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
This 4.5 million sq ft campus will house
the Headquarters for the US Department
of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard
and 22 other agencies. During the construction
of this mini city workers needed
to be housed in modular buildings.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius was selected by the
Prime Contractor and the Construction
Manager of this project to provide over
23,000 sq ft of modular office buildings.
What was so unique about the accomplishment

[CHALLENGE]
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was
scheduled to build a chemical defense
complex at Aberdeen Proving Ground for
the U.S. Army Medical Research
Institute of Chemical Defense, USAMRICD,
a government agency charged with
protecting the military from chemical and
biological attacks.

[CHALLENGE]
The Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA
was in need of office space for Naval
Criminal Investigation Service (NCIS.)
NCIS investigative efforts in support of
the FBI’s investigation centered on
protecting Marine Corps personnel assigned
to MCB Quantico.These efforts are
closely coordinated and supported by
MCB Quantico Command to ensure the
safety of military and civilian personnel
aboard the base.
[SOLUTION]

United States Army - Assembly Use
[CHALLENGE]
The US Army was updating facilities on an isolated island which required a 2,160 square foot cafeteria/command center for troops training. The building had to be delivered and installed at the remote location in between exercises so as not to disrupt training.
