[CHALLENGE]
A local industrial manufacture needed permanent office space at their new location in Richmond Virginia. They needed to relocate their staff as soon as possible so that that they did not have to extend their current lease. Modular construction was an ideal type of construction that would produce a permanent appearance while reducing the timeline for site construction and the permit process.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius worked with the customer and the General Contractor to meet the client’s expectations. A crawl space foundation was constructed to place the modules as close to the ground as possible. Once the buildings were craned into place an EFIS exterior was applied to conceal themate-lines and
Sibley Memorial Hospital

[CHALLENGE]
Sibley Memorial Hospital was undergoing a major renovation which required the relocation of staff without interruption. The renovation involved the renewal of the surgeons locker room, offices and rest area. This area is required to be adjacent to the operating rooms on the third floor of the hospital.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 2,800 SF building that was placed on top of the third floor of the hospital. A steel superstructure was built on the roof to distribute the weight of the building. Once the building was craned and secured into place, site-built connecting links were constructed to allow access from the hospital to the new addition. Valet Parking Office, Reagan National Airport, DC

[CHALLENGE]
Reagan National Airport is constantly faced with over-crowded parking. The conversion of an existing lot into a valet parking lot was needed to help relieve the strain. Construction had to take place during the weekend so it did not interfere with the traffic during the regular work week.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius manufactured, delivered, and installed the 2,440 square foot modular office building in 30 days from time of contract. The building functions as an office for the staff and a waiting room for the customers as they wait for their cars to be retrieved from the valet.
US Coast Guard Headquarters, DC
[CHALLENGE]
Creating the largest construction job since the Pentagon in 1940 the Federal Government is renovating and expanding upon former St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. This 4.5 million sq ft campus will house the Headquarters for the US Department of Homeland Security, US Coast Guard and 22 other agencies. During the construction of this mini city workers needed to be housed in modular buildings.
[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius was selected by the Prime Contractor and the Construction Manager of this project to provide over 23,000 sq ft of modular office buildings. What was so unique about the accomplishment is that was completed on time, on budget and occurred during the blizzard of 2009-2010 with a record snow
Boca West, FL

[CHALLENGE]
A national general contractor was in need of an office complex on the jobsite for a large fast paced project. They needed to staff over 50 personnel during the multi-year project on site.

[SOLUTION] Modular Genius designed, built and installed 4,200 square-feet of modular buildings for the project.
US Naval Academy, Maryland
[CHALLENGE]
The US Naval Academy was renovating Nimitz Library and in need of temporary office space during the renovation.The site selected was near the water on the edge of the historic campus.The project was under a tight time constraints and needed to be completed with limited disturbance to the Academy. Delmar Weigh Station, Delmar, MD.

[CHALLENGE]
The Maryland State Highway Administration needed to replace the weigh station in Delmar, MD. The buildings had to be custom built to meet the specific need of a scale house.

[SOLUTION]
Modular Genius provided a 1,056 square foot building. The project was completed in 90 days.
